Kendaka Nubian House offered a charming atmosphere with stunning views of the Nile. The breakfast spread was generous, especially the delicious potatoes which I'm curious about. The staff really went above and beyond, treating me like family upon arrival and helping organize my sightseeing. The King Room with Balcony provided an amazing spot to relax and watch the sunset. The only downside was that the air conditioning struggled to cool adequately during the warmer nights, leading to some discomfort. Also, while the food was enjoyable, service during mealtime could be inconsistent, as I waited longer than expected for a simple lunch.

Stunning Nile views from the balcony room.
The air conditioning struggled to cool below 20º, making hot nights uncomfortable. The shower was awkwardly placed above the toilet, limiting space for our toiletries. Service at mealtime was inconsistent. we waited over an hour for a simple lunch.

Y’all, I was right at the heart of the Nubian village. The view from my room? Breathtaking! Staff were kinder than a summer breeze, and they whipped up some amazing Egyptian breakfast. I felt safe as a kitten in a basket. That early morning breakfast to go? Now that’s what I call hospitality.

This place was an excellent fit for a short break in Aswan with high value for money. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt at home during our stay. Just be aware of mosquitos at night. bringing some repellent is a smart move.

The room was super comfy and had an amazing view of the Nile. We even had a nice terrace to chill and watch the sunset. It was colorful and spacious, just like I hoped! Plus, the staff were super accommodating, allowing us to check out late. But the road to get there is a bit bumpy—which is something to consider if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff.
